Due to the worldwide COVID-19 lockdown Boğaziçi Physics department has transferred their weekly departmental series, hosted by Prof. Can Kozcaz into a series of online open public seminars. It was a great honor to be part of this series with
18.05.2020 – The Monday Meetings
Due to the worldwide COVID-19 lock down Monday Meetings was initiated by İ. Ceyhun Andaç, a PhD student at Istanbul Technical University and Universite Granoble Alpes, to come together and listen to each others works via an online platform. The
11-14.02.2020 – A visit to King’s College
We discussed new directions considering wavefunction calculations on de Sitter with Dionysios Anninos and Paolo Benincasa who were also interested in our recent work on unitary representations at the late time boundary of de Sitter.
10.02.2020 – A visit to Imperial College
Our results on the unitarity at the late time boundary were presented and discussed upon at the group meeting of Andrew Tolley and Claudia de Rham, together with possible questions to raise next.
Milestone 1: Operators at the late time boundary of de Sitter
As our first concrete step we have identified boundary fields on de Sitter for scalar fields of various masses in terms of the irreducible representations of the (d+1)-dimensional de Sitter symmetry group SO(d+1,1). One can think of these irreducible representations as particles
